Northamptonshire Festivals
Gala celebrations and memorable events have always been a part of the rich heritage of England, making the Northamptonshire festivals some of the most eagerly awaited events in this shire county of England.

From January to August, going up to the very end of the year, Northamptonshire plays host to some of the most wonderful and fun-filled festivals, making it one of the most frequently visited destinations for tourists and residents alike.

Early in August, the East Carlton Park also plays host to the Transport Gala, a one of its kind festival. Another international event that draws major international attention is the Northamptonshire International Jazz Festival, at the Castle Way, showcasing the talents of some of the finest artists in Jazz.
Another interesting event to look forward to in the Northamptonshire festivals is the Kites Day at Rockingham Castle, usually held in September. Corby, one of the other main regions of Northamptonshire is also famous for its event, the Corby Carnival Day, held in June. The Wilby Festival and Country Fayre, also held in June is also one of the famous festivals of Northamptonshire.
Though there are some festivals which are just held once in a few years, or on other hand, more than once in a single year, yet most of these festivals are held as annual events.
