Restaurants in Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire Restaurants

Northamptonshire surely offers a sumptuous culinary treat for food lovers, with an amazing choice of Northamptonshire restaurants on offer. Over the past decades, this beautiful county in central England has come up with a vast range of eating venues and restaurants. These range from the likes of celebrity chef endorsed exotic eateries to organic cafes and of course, the simple, old time favorite traditional eating places.

The restaurants in Northamptonshire are especially famous for offering the most conventional as well as the most exotic dishes from across the globe, unlike other counties of England. For instance, you can even find one of the oldest delicacies, pork scratchings, which are basically salted and crisped pieces of cooked pig skin, in one of the many Northamptonshire restaurants.

Northamptonshire Restaurants – The Palate

Whether we are talking of the far-flung Brackley or the well-located Kettering
, each of the areas has restaurants that offer delectable delights. Places such as Corby, Oundle, Towcester, Wellingborough and Rushden have restaurants that offer both, traditional as well as international cuisine, including some of the most exotic delicacies on offer.

Just take a pick from the likes of the Thai River Kwai from for an impressive Thai spread, or head for the Kin Wa Chinese restaurant for some of the finest Chinese gourmet. The likes of The Knightley Restaurant at Fawsley Hall in Daventry are especially famous for their special delicacies on offer. Northamptonshire restaurants offering Italian, French and Indian menus are also found in abundance in the region.

Interestingly, international rather than local cuisine remains one of the most famous and popular form of dining out in Northamptonshire, largely preferred by tourists as well as the local population.

Keeping up with the latest trends of fast food and changing eating preferences, Northamptonshire restaurants also have on the menu the usual preferred children's meals such as pizzas and burgers, making them an ideal destination for the younger generation as well. There are plenty of Burger or Pizza restaurants in the region for those having such food preferences.

The British kitchen indeed offers some of the most varied forms of cuisines worldwide. However, the most interesting aspect is that almost all of the regions still offer their traditional dishes in the same taste and finesse. This is perhaps the most true for many of the restaurants in Northamptonshire, which carry a classic rural touch in the delicacies offered, even today.
